Can pregnant women fly on an airplane?

Yes, you may board. For passengers whose boarding date falls within 4 weeks (28 days) of their expected delivery date, the following conditions apply.

・15 to 28 days before (inclusive of) the expected delivery date: Submission of a medical certificate* is required.

・Within 14 days of (inclusive of) the expected delivery date: Submission of a medical certificate* and accompaniment by a physician are required.


* The “medical certificate” must be issued within 7 days prior to boarding (including the boarding date) and must clearly state, as certified by a physician, that the passenger has no health impediment to undertaking air travel.
